OUTLOOK OF INDIAN DEMOCRACY
Harassments to the public life is now a days increasing rapidly either by politically motivated strikes or communally generated ‘bandhs / harthals’ every where in the country. It is interesting to note that the organizers behind every agitation always be claimed that it is for the welfare of human beings.
It is experienced that even few people can paralyse the normal life of the country, if they intend to do so. This phenomenon had been prevailing here since long and gradually become strong day by day after independence.
We had developed a new work force, ‘political middlemen’ since long, who themselves called as the saviours of general public and have now come to a burden for the country, because of their act against the growth of country and its people. You can see everywhere this type of champions, who are ready to do anything if you have money in your pocket. Even though people are struggling hard to meet both their end, these ‘parasites’ are enjoying a luxurious life without having any effort at the expenses of public and are frequently interrupting the public life everywhere enthusiastically.
All politicians, barring to their status either ruling party or opposition are very keen to divide the mass based on their cast and creed. They are always looking for the sentimental issues to divide the pubic on the above by the help of these intermediaries. The mass are instruments in the hands of these powerful people. They can easily stretch them as per their wish for their personal gaining. In fact, every political party in our country is very keen to keep such force to safeguard their interests in each region.
This month also we had experienced two or three national ‘bandhs’, several state ‘bandhs’, regional ‘bandhs’, ‘harthals’ etc. in addition to the usual strikes of organized unions across the country. Even though people’s issues are growing day by day due to bad governs, powerful politicians had always been supported blindly by the people, as their trained strategy is competent enough to attract the poor people in all sections by the help of these middlemen.
All we have to think, can we remove the existing scenario from our social life? How long their strategy remains here. Could we sit idle such a long time by suffering all these anomalies and injustice? It is time to put an end to their strategy, which is gradually, ruined the public life politically, socially and economically.
